I'm glad you can finally play, be sure to bump the Xeno thread with your comments!
If you get 15 minutes into the game without problems, you can safely say all of it will work; Xenosaga accesses the second layer for FMVs so it must be working.
The fact that I didnt think this would work just makes playing it a constant joy to play
Exactly, that's why moderate pessimism can actually make you happier, and, in the worst case, won't get you depressed.

Yep, its all in order. Ive tested the cut-scenes, battles, menus, traveling sections and saving system, and ive encountered no problems whatsoever. Also, on the HDD, the transition to battles or cut-scenes are instant and smooth. I havent found myself waiting for anything thanks to the fact its all on one single layer (whereas i heard there was a loading time when changing the layers on DVD). This improvement has justified my efforts.
I'll most certainly write a review for it when im finished, although i'll write my first impressions in the Xeno thread now.

Writing some bullshit essay on how I help the environment.

Stage 2 of project Xenosaga complete. Its almost 6Am, and ive just managed to rip, extract, flatten, mould, barbeque, and dress my Xenosaga file. I'll now finish by sending it to the PS2 HDD, which should take about 2 hours by stable transfer.
In the meantime, im reading "Regeneration" by Pat Barker.

Just been to my local shopping centre (200 meters from my home) which just expanded. It's now huge, and became the largest shopping centre in Europe (and what's better, second and third largest shopping centres are in Spain too, at only 40 and 30 minutes by car from my home, featuring palace-like architecture and Europe's largest indoor snow sports facility respectively).
I spent like half an hour just crossing it! It has TWO hypermarkets, dozens of the finest cloth shops of all categories, Spanish and foreign, from Adolfo Dom?nguez to Pull and Bear, from Zara to C&A, from Massimo Dutti to Lacoste, three Italian food restaurants, two arcades, two Burger Kings, two McDonalds, half a dozen Spanish fast food restaurants, tens of bars, a sports facility, a four stars hotel... All of it producing nearly 5000 job positions.
What's better is it has a huge artificial lake in the centre featuring the world's most advanced laser spectacle, which I just watched in awe. It was a stunning experience. It's very hard to describe; think fireworks made of water combined with oldschool demoscene, only in real 3D; with music and several themes (classic, modern, upbeat, and others) synchronised with lasers drawing 3D figures and a film projector.
I took some pictures so you can get a glimpse of what I saw, but since all of this is made with directional, moving, colored water stream compared to the real thing in motion.

Woah, that is quite amazing. I'd love to see that in person. Not to mention to live so close.
Speaking of seeing things in person I got tickets to The Rolling Stones.

Seems like life is bustling around everyone.
Congratz on that Cata, altho I have to say I absolutely have no spark of what you have done and how did you do it, but playing Xenosaga can be awesome. ~ Get some sleep -___-;;;;
Wiseman, that is truly awesome, omfg, i'm so jealous of you. a few years and supermarkets will be city large... with homes in it... ._.;; Ph34r them!
Anyway, a great you thing you have that, one day Hungary will too, I hope.
And way cool Nevan, I was never at a concert in ym whole life... can you believe it? The Rawk bands I'd really like to see, like Sonata Arctica or Lost Prophets etc. will prolly never even come to Hungary, where I could jam to them. This makes me sad all the time. I want them in live!
Owell... Guild Wars eats up my time, altho I was playing BasketBall too, getting many points for my team, altho I'm not so good in it, I owned myself. I also helped my mom clean the apartmant again, so yeah. Life's going...

IRT Wiseman: Is number 4 porn? And that is freaking awesome. I hope they played some trance music and had people dancing in the water. It will happen on the New years!

Damn this sucks. I've tryed to reinstall windows, but in the new version, it completely sucks. It can't connect to the net or even recognise half of my hardware. As you can tell, i've managed to get back to my orginal version, but due to a system restore, it's doing this "blink" thing with the programs. I can't really explain it.
Still, how can i remove the second (new) version of windows from my computer?
